Over the years I’ve worked with people experiencing emotional distress as a counsellor, support worker and aromatherapist.
I try to be aware of my privilege and how this might affect our counselling relationship.
As a queer non-binary person, finding a counsellor I could trust and be understood by has helped me to get in touch with my own strength, to connect with who I really am, and to find my way through difficult and traumatic life events. I am passionate about counselling and what I have to offer to clients.
Having our sexuality, gender or relationship misunderstood by a counsellor can be a harmful and all-too common experience for those of us who are outside the mainstream. I provide a place where people of all genders and sexual orientations, those who practise kink, and those in or exploring non-monogamous relationships can be heard and understood.
